SPLASH

Splash was created by Gina Biver in 2007 as a new music/new media ensemble based in the Washington DC area.  Splash is a musical multi-media performance art experience involving live musicians, computer generated screen projections triggered in real time by the players themselves, as well as other forms of video graphics, animations and installation art.  Gina loves to work in collaboration with new media artists Edgar Endress and Howard Connelly. From their diverse backgrounds in music and art, and linked by the insane possibilities offered by software such as Max/MSP/Jitter, they are forging new paths into the future of live concert performances.  Splash performs the music of contemporary composers, electronic and electro-acoustic.  Splash enjoyed their first performance at the Gildenhorn/Speisman Center for the Arts in Rockville, Maryland in October of 2007, and is currently planning several new shows this spring.  Stay tuned for details and upcoming concert dates!!  Click here for photos!
