This piece is about the elasticity of time; the illusory nature of our perception of it: the way it expands and contracts depending on what we do, where we are, and which direction we're looking.
Loosely skating forward in our regular days, counting our breaths in meditation, peering over our shoulders at years past, or feeling the sudden, screeching halt that comes from experiencing trauma or some life-altering encounter: time can seem fluid, rigid... or nonexistent.
